Occupational Therapy
I am a Hand Therapist, based at Spire South Bank Hospital. I qualified as an Occupational Therapist in 1999 from Coventry University and have worked in Hand Therapy since 2001.
I gained vast experience in the NHS at a Major Trauma centre and has rehabilitated many complex traumatic upper limb injuries as well as assessing and treating patients following elective surgery and those with Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am competent in assessments of the hand and wrist and many treatment modalities including static and dynamic splinting and manual therapies.
I am a member of the British Association of Hand Therapists (BAHT) and have completed and taught on BAHT-validated courses.
