I am a Consultant Upper GI Bariatric Surgeon and am available to see patients with a variety of conditions including obesity, gallstones, acid reflux, and hernias.
I have a specialist interest in weight loss surgery and have performed over 150 gastric bypasses and sleeve gastrectomies. I became a consultant in bariatric surgery at Ashford and St Peter’s NHS Foundation Trust in 2020.
I also have a specialist interest in hiatal hernia, reflux and achalasia surgery and perform the Bravo procedure.
I undertook my surgical training in Oxford, having qualified from Cambridge University and UCL. I completed two post-CCT fellowships in Upper GI and weight loss surgery at UCLH and New Zealand.
I was appointed to Frimley Health NHS in 2019 and have since set up a GI Physiology service in Heatherwood Hospital (Ascot) to investigate reflux and oesophageal motility conditions.
I sit on various Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh committees, as well as Upper GI associations (AUGIS/BBUGSS) Councils with an interest in education. I have organised, directed and delivered webinars, courses and talks on UGI and weight loss surgery nationally.
