I have practised Cardiology for eight years but more specifically electrophysiology for nearly six years.
I am interested in Palpitations, arrhythmias, AF- diagnosis and treatment/ cardioversion/ ablation/pacemakers. Diagnosis and management of sudden cardiac death and syncope.
I was previously a locum Consultant Cardiologist in Bristol followed by my permanent appointment at the Glenfield Hospital Leicester in 2009. I find this area of cardiology stimulating and rewarding by diagnosing and treating patients with arrhythmias.
My training started with a research in cardiovascular genetics at the University of Cambridge, being awarded a PhD for my work. Subsequently, my cardiology training was in the South West at Bristol and Bath Hospitals, culminating in a year's fellowship in electrophysiology at Southampton General Hospital.
