I am a Haematology Consultant in Russells Hall Hospital, Dudley, West Midlands since 2022. I have been a Haematologist for more than seven years. My training was in the West Midlands Deanery.
I have special interest in benign and malignant blood disorders, including managing and treating leukaemias, lymphomas and myelomas. I have experience in haemostasis, thrombosis and manage autologous stem cell transplant.
I treat abnormal blood counts such as anaemia, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, lymphopenia, polycythaemia, and thrombocytosis. I am involved in various trials at Russells Hall Hospital, and have several publications, research papers and case reports. I am the educational and haemoglobinopathy lead in the department.
I have previous extensive experience in internal medicine, which gave me a thorough insight in managing haematology patients especially when they are inpatients. I am committed to improve the outcomes and well-being of my patients with a caring and sympathetic attitude within my hard working haematology team.
