Virtual consultations:

I am interested in all aspects of paediatrics, especially delivering sensitive, child focused care. I am keen to involve children in their consultation as much as possible and to stick to the minimum amount of investigations and treatments which they have to undergo. I want children to enjoy their visit.

I also appreciate the anxieties and difficulties of being a parent. By working in partnership with families, I hope to alleviate the child's, parents' and grandparents' fears and worries.

I see lots of children with a variety of different problems.

I have a particular interest in constipation/stool withholding, soiling and wetting, and have published a book to help families deal with these conditions.

I also see many children with headaches, chronic fatigue syndrome and sleep problems.

Consultant Paediatrician at West Herts Hospital Trust

I spend most of my spare time with my family. I have three boys, all born on the same day, so I know a lot about the great joys and challenges of parenthood. This means that my interests have to change with theirs. At present Lego comes top of the list. I also enjoy activities that stretch the mind, especially reading. A series of minor injuries mean that the only chance I have of playing football and cricket for England is in my dreams.
