I am a Consultant Ophthalmologist at the Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion and Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the university of Edinburgh.

My special interests are in cataract surgery, diabetic eye disease and vitreo-retinal surgery.

I am the clinical lead for cataract surgery in NHS Lothian and routinely perform high volume, any complexity cataract theatre lists. 

I am often referred complex cataracts for surgery under my care.

I have undertaken specialist vitreo-retinal fellowship training in Edinburgh and then Birmingham Midland Eye Centre and perform surgery for routine and complex VR pathology including retinal detachment, epiretinal membrane, macular holes and correction of aphakia.
