"Spire Gatwick Park Hospital has taken on an unrivalled commitment and challenge to deliver specialist Paediatric Gastroenterology care within the region."

I am a highly experienced and well respected Paediatrician who has developed expertise in Gastroenterology and Nutrition over 20 years - the last 16 years as a consultant specialist in Brighton. The university practice I lead is based at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital, Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals, for children and families seeking expert care across Sussex, Surrey and beyond. I have trained in a number of recognised specialist centres of national and international excellence both in the UK (like Great Ormond Street) and Canada (like Sick Kids, Toronto). In addition I maintain a keen interest and active participation in under and post graduate education, training and academic endeavours including research and undertakes a number of regional and national leadership roles.

I have acquired a wealth of expertise and broad experience in managing general and complex gastro-intestinal and nutritional problems. I am able to offer a comprehensive service of consultation advice and any necessary investigations.

I work with a team of dedicated and experienced healthcare professionals including those able to assist with dietetic and clinical investigation support.

I am an excellent listener, acknowledging the importance of a patient-centred approach and teamwork. I fully engage with children, their families and multi-professional colleagues, working in collaboration to help inform evidence-based decisions for the best possible outcomes in clinical care.

Consultant Paediatrician in Gastroenterology and Nutrition – Lead Consultant and Department Head, The Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital - Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals.

I really value shared activities and reflective moments with my wife and three teenage children whenever the opportunity arises. I much enjoy international travel, exotic locations and the enriching cultural experiences these can bring.
