I am a Consultant Medical Oncologist at the Bristol Cancer Institute, part of the University Hospitals Bristol. I am the lead of the clinical trials unit at the Cancer Institute and hold an Honorary Senior Lectureship position as the Clinical Lead of the University of Bristol Cancer Community, I am a member of the National Cancer Research Institute’s Ovarian and Endometrial Groups.
I have an MA in Medical Sciences from the University of Cambridge and completed my BM in clinical training at the University of Oxford in 1997. I hold a PhD in cancer genetics from University College London. I also worked in a number of hospitals as a junior doctor, completing my specialist cancer training at the Royal Marsden Hospital in London.

I moved to Bristol with my wife and two children in 2011 to take up my consultant post. I enjoy playing hockey for Clifton Robinsons and I am a Governor at Christ Church Primary School.
