Dr Bernd Wittkop

Radiologist

FRCR

I have been working as a Consultant Radiologist in Worcestershire since 2001. My clinical interests include: musculoskeletal ultrasound and MRI; gynaecological imaging, including transvaginal ultrasound; general as well as head and neck radiology; oncology imaging (cancer staging) and uroradiology including prostate biopsies.

My interest in sports medicine and being the sole provider of shockwave therapy for chronic tendon issues has led to strong links with physiotherapists, chiropractors and orthopaedic surgeons.

Additionally, I am the South Bank Lead Consultant on the Radiation Protection Committee and I am the Clinical Nuclear Medicine Lead in the Acute Trust – I work as an appraiser and audit my work on a regular basis.
