I am a Consultant Clinical Diagnostic and Interventional Radiologist in Brighton. In addition to all aspects of general body imaging, I sub-specialise in vascular imaging and Interventional Radiology (IR).
I also have a subspecialty interest in cardiac CT, having previously gained level 2 accreditation. In addition to the core interventional radiology operative workload, I offer complex endovascular peripheral arterial revascularisation, aortic stent grafts, PCNL, venous access and embolisation.
I have a surgical background and undertook basic surgical training in the West of Scotland with an additional year of urology training. I gained Membership to the Royal College of Surgeons in 2006.
Having completed diagnostic radiology training in Newcastle and Interventional Radiology training in Freeman Hospital, I underwent further specialist training with Fellowship in Interventional Radiology in at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, Ireland. I achieved the European Board of Interventional Radiology accreditation in 2012.
I have been a former Lecturer of Interventional Radiology for the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. I have authored several book chapters, am a nationally invited speaker, and have participated in national clinical trials. I have held a number of positions, most recently leading the Interventional Radiology service in Brighton.
