MBBS, MD, PhD, MRCP
I am an experienced gastroenterologist at King's College Hospital and Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust. Over the years, I have developed a highly regarded referral practice and receives patients from throughout Kent and Medway.
I manage all gastrointestinal diseases and provide comfortable and safe endoscopic procedures. After specialty training at centres such as Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital in London and Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, I went on to the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, USA.
Advances in genetics, pharmacology and endoscopy translate into a modern and patient-centred approach to medical care. My original research into molecular biology and genetics was awarded a PhD at King's College London and the findings were subsequently patented. This work has been recognised by awards from the American Gastroenterology Association, the British Society of Gastroenterology and the British Association of study of the Liver.
I am also the chair of the training programme for future consultant gastroenterologists in Kent, Sussex and Surrey. I am an author of medical textbooks and professional journal articles and have lectured at national and international conferences.
