I then went on to train at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and West Middlesex hospital for my foundation training (F1 and F2), undertaking roles across many specialties including Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, General Surgery, Bariatric Surgery, A+E and General Practice.

I then undertook my speciality training in General Practice at the Riverside scheme at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. I gained the broad experience necessary for my role as a General Practitioner working in the departments of Genitourinary Medicine and HIV, Psychiatry, A+E as well as spending time working in GP practices in Kensington and Pimlico. Following this training I was awarded Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2013. During my postgraduate training I also achieved the Diploma of the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Health in 2011 and the Diploma of The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and was awarded the Diploma Prize Medal for gaining the highest mark in the country.

After qualifying as a GP, I moved back to Southend, where I grew up and am currently work as an NHS GP in Central Southend. I have been at the same practice for five years working where my Mother and Father worked for many years and so carrying on the family tradition.
