I am a registered menopause specialist and NHS GP. I qualified from Cambridge University and hold Membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. I initially trained in obstetrics and gynaecology where i gained a Doctor of Medicine for research in fetomaternal medicine.
I am a member of the International Menopause Society, and was elected onto the British Menopause Society (BMS) Medical Advisory Committee. I am also a BMS menopause trainer.
I am passionate about educating, empowering and supporting all women through all stages of their menopause transition and have given numerous talks on the menopause.
I co-founded My Menopause Centre where I am also Clinical Director, as well as running a specialist NHS menopause service. I am also a GP partner in a practice in Leeds.
I am directly involved in educating GPs about the menopause transition through talks, lectures and seminars and have been involved in writing and reviewing menopause training modules and pathways for the British Menopause Society, doctors.net, the Primary Care Women’s Health and the Leeds Teaching Hospital Trust.
