I am an award winning cataract and vitreoretinal surgeon. I offer private cataract and vitreoretinal surgery (no posture macula hole surgery) at Spire Shawfair hospital in Edinburgh.

My NHS base is at the Tennent Institute of Ophthalmology in Glasgow (Gartnavel General Hospital) which is the largest eye department in Scotland.

In addition to standard ophthalmic consultant surgeon training within the UK, I have completed two world class one year advanced vitreoretinal fellowship training programmes in Glasgow, and The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear hospital, Melbourne, Australia.

I am known for my relaxed demeanour and personal approach with my patients.
