BSC, MSC, MD, FRCP
My main interests are in the management of patients with interstitial lung disease and COPD, its diagnoses and treatment. I am also interested in management of patients with inflammatory lung diseases such as bronchiectasis. I am available to consult any inpatients who develop respiratory problems following any type of surgery.
I completed my education in Montreal (McGill University) and Dublin (University College Dublin). Subsequently I completed my respiratory training in Dublin. I received a European Respiratory Society Fellowship which allowed me to work in the Royal Brompton Hospital, London.
At present I am actively working currently at the Bristol Interstitial Lung Disease (BILD) Service at the North Bristol Trust, where I am involved in the diagnosis and the management of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, hypersensitive pneumonitis, sarcoidosis, connective tissue (scleroderma, rheumatoid disease, Sjogren's disease) related interstitial lung disease, smoking related interstitial lung disease, pulmonary vasculitis and occupational and drug induced lung disorders.
