Specialises in
I am a consultant in both cardiology and general internal medicine. I have a specialist interest in all forms of coronary intervention including radial (wrist) and femoral access, complex coronary angioplasty, acute primary angioplasty, coronary assessment and intravascular imaging.
I've had extensive training and experience in many major units, including St George's Hospital and the Royal Brompton Hospital in London, and at the Wythenshawe Cardiothoracic Centre and Leeds General Infirmary.
I have gained extensive cardiology experience in both district general and large teaching hospitals. These have included The Royal Brompton, Hammersmith, Wythenshawe and St George's Hospital where I became a Senior Interventional Fellow prior to completing specialist training. While at St George's I pursued my subspecialist interest of coronary intervention, developing expertise in a wide range of advanced techniques.
