I am an interventional cardiologist dealing predominantly with coronary artery disease and its consequences including myocardial infarction and heart failure.
I was appointed in 2004 as a consultant cardiologist and have gained extensive experience particularly in assessment of possible coronary artery disease and heart failure. In addition I see a lot of general cardiology including the management of palpitations/ heart arrhythmias, high blood pressure as well as assessment of the cardiac patient undergoing non cardiac surgery.
I am also interested in cardiac ultrasound and is able to provide on site scanning for the rapid assessment and diagnosis of important conditions like heart failure and cardiomyopathies.
I have over the last few years, also been regularly involved in GP education through dedicated lectures.

I have lived in Solihull since 1996. I am married with three children who are at school locally. I am involved in community projects including school and sporting events having participated in both the Knowle and Dorridge fun runs. I also play football and cricket with local GPs in the summer months. I am in addition, a member of Knowle and Dorridge running club and took part in the London Marathon in 2013.
