"I am proud to continue all my private practice through Spire which has provided an excellent environment for my practice."
As a consultant radiologist with specialist interest in musculoskeletal and chest radiology, I have been working closely with the best orthopaedic surgeons, rheumatologists and chest physicians the region has to offer in private practice since 2001, and since Spire Washington Hospital's inauguration in 2007 with continuous service.
I perform weekly ultrasound guided joint, tendon sheath, bursal, enthesiopathytrigger point injections and dry needling for achilles and patella tendon chronic tendinitis with good feedback from patients and their referrers. I also perform flouroscopically-guided joint injections and full spectrum diagnostic arthrography.
To date I have performed well over over 10,000 guided musculoskeletal injections at Spire Washington Hospital and a further 10,000 in the NHS over 20 years.
My continuously-used skills in acute and oncologic general radiology in the NHS sector have helped continuously pick up significant incidental pathology on musculoskeletal MRI which has enabled prompt tretament and significant reduction in morbidity.
I have extensive experience as an expert witness in musculoskeletal, chest and general MRI/CT and Spire has assisted in a consistently effective way to keep up momentum in the legal process by speedy access to high quality relevant imaging.
I am an expert witness performing and reporting diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasounds/MRI and MR arthrograms for musculoskeletal injury and in the discernment of industrially-related lung and pleural disease as well as broad spectum general CT/MRI issues.
