MB ChB BAO MRCP (Neph) FRCP PhD
I have been a renal consultant since 2016, having undertaken renal training in the North Thames region and in Wessex. I was awarded a PhD in renal medicine and clinical pharmacology in 2015, with my research focussing on improving outcomes for patients having kidney transplants.
I have comprehensive experience in the management of acute kidney injury and chronic kidney disease, glomerular disease and vasculitis.
I also treat all areas of kidney disease including general nephrology, chronic kidney disease (CKD), diabetic renal disease and management of hypertension, Glomerular disease, vasculitis, SLE, and renal manifestations of connective tissue disease.
In addition to my clinical work, I am the Associate Director of the Southampton Academy of Research, and an Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Southampton.
I am also the Renal Research Champion for the Wessex Clinical Research Network.
