I enjoy spending time in the Yorkshire countryside with my wife Natalie, a town and country planner, and our two children aged eight and 10 years old. I have a keen interest in music, playing the saxophone and flute, and playing sport. During my university years I played rugby union competitively and now enjoy watching international games, supporting my local team and coaching the local under 11s rugby team as an England Rugby Certified Coach.
