Dr Nasser Q Khan

I am an experienced gastroenterologist who practices in the local area. My interests and expertise encompass all aspects of gastroenterology but my main interest is in irritable bowel syndrome and bowel motility as well as performing safe, comfortable endoscopy to rule out any other pathology when appropriate.

I am an accredited Bowel Cancer Screening Colonoscopist.

I had my specialist training in the North East Thames rotation and trained at numerous centres of excellence including Royal Free Hospital, UCLH, St Mark’s and Royal London Hospitals.

I was awarded an MD in Gastroenterology/Medical Education by UCL after a two year period of research at The Royal Free Hospital. I am currently a full-time Consultant Gastroenterologist at the Lister and QEII Hospitals.

I have produced many publications and numerous presentations in the field of Medical Education and Gastroenterology.

My aim is to provide a sensitive, unhurried consultation where the patient is listened to as I believe this is the most important step in making a diagnosis.
