Virtual consultations:
I am a full-time NHS Cardiology Consultant, trained in all aspects of general cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. I have a specialist interest in the management of complex cardiac arrhythmias such as SVT, AF, ventricular ectopic/tachycardia ablation and also the implantation of cardiac devices such as pacemakers, defibrillators, His bundle pacing (HBP) and cardiac re-synchronisation therapy devices.
I specialise in the use of cryo ('freezing') and/or radiofrequency ('heat') energy for the use of treatment of cardiac arrhythmias, commonly atrial fibrillation, flutters, SVT, ventricular ectopics/VT. I also implant pacemakers including His bundle pacing (HBP), defibrillators and cardiac re-synchronisation devices (CRT-P/D).
To date, I have performed several hundred ablations for SVT/AF/VTSs. I have performed a similar number, if not more of device procedures.
Currently, I chair the weekly cardio-thoracic MDT meetings and also the divisional lead for IT.
I have honorary senior clinical lectureship with the University of Bristol.
