I am a Consultant Dermatologist at Spire Leeds Hospital and Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust. My clinical interests include inflammatory skin diseases such as psoriasis, eczema, skin cancer and acne.

I qualified from Manchester Medical School in 2004 and subsequently undertook my specialist dermatology training in Salford Royal Hospital, Manchester. During this time I undertook a fellowship in medical education, which included a diploma in medical education. Following this I moved to Toronto, Canada to gain additional training as a fellow in advanced medical dermatology.

Following this, I returned to the UK where I have been working as a consultant since 2014 in Leeds. Within this role I undertake a weekly complex medical dermatology clinic (including connective tissue diseases), skin cancer clinic and psoriasis clinic. In addition, I am the dermatology lead for cutaneous lymphoma.

I have a diverse research interest in inflammatory skin diseases and have a number of active clinical research activities ongoing at present. I am also a keen medical educator and oversee undergraduate dermatology training for the University of Leeds.

Consultant Dermatologist and Honorary Senior Lecturer, Leeds NHS Teaching Hospitals Trust.

I grew up in the North East and completed studies in biochemistry in York before moving to Manchester to undertake medical training. I live in Leeds with my wife and two young boys. When I get the chance I enjoy a wide range of sports including cycling, although sadly I don't get out on my bike as often as I would like!
