I am a Consultant Musculoskeletal Radiologist at Spire Leeds Hospital, and Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
I am also an honorary clinical associate professor at the University of Leeds, and Leeds Musculoskeletal Biomedical Research Centre. I am currently president-elect of the European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology (ESSR) and will become president in 2025. I have previously been president of the British Society of Skeletal Radiologists (BSSR) (2018-2020) and clinical director for Leeds Radiology (2012-18).
I have authored over 110 peer-reviewed papers, 25 book chapters and 1 textbook. My main research interests include: sports acute and overuse injuries (particularly groin, hip, knee and ankle pain), clinical effectiveness studies as well as sarcoma imaging and management.
I serve on several academic and educational committees for the NHS England, Royal College of Radiologists, European Society of Radiology, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology and International Skeletal Society. I am also a medical adviser to the European/World DP Golf Tour.
