BSc (Hons), MBBS, MRCP, FRCR
My core radiological training took place on the Imperial College rotation, where I acquired a solid foundation in all aspects of diagnostic radiology. During this time I developed an interest in oncological imaging and subsequently spent 18 months at Mount Vernon Cancer Centre, undertaking sub-speciality training in this field.
During my fellowship, I gained invaluable multimodality experience in the imaging features of a wide variety of malignancies throughout their disease course, using CT, MRI and PET-CT. I also became proficient in the use of multiparametric MRI, gaining practical experience in newer functional MRI techniques, and developed an interest in various pelvic malignancies. I am the lead radiologist for upper and lower gastrointestinal malignancy for West Herts Hospitals NHS Trust and the Mount Vernon Cancer Network. I also have a specialist interest in urological and gynaecological malignancy.
