MBBS, MSc (Clin Onc), MRCP (UK), FRCR
After my medical degree, I was trained at Mersey and North West region, with clinical oncology training within West Midlands and obtained a Masters in Clinical Oncology from the University of Birmingham during specialist training.
I was awarded RCR cyclotron fellowship to learn about Proton therapy, from University of Florida Health Proton Therapy Institute (2016) and have just been awarded RCR International Travelling Fellowship (2017-2019) to support oncology education and training in low/middle income countries.
I am passionate about teaching and training and am actively involved in training junior colleagues. I am trained to deliver stereotactic radiotherapy employing cyberknife/VMAT and am actively involved in breast and lung cancer clinical trials as Principal and Co-investigator and have published in peer-reviewed journals. I have initiated Immunotherapy delivery, training and education (medical and nursing staff) at Walsall Manor Hospitals.
