I'm a Consultant Cardiologist at University Hospitals Sussex, Brighton and clinical lead for advanced cardiac imaging, congenital heart disease and pulmonary hypertension.
I am a general cardiologist with interest in cardiac imaging including echocardiography, CT and cardiac magnetic resonance imaging. I am accredited with the American Society of Cardiovascular MRI, British Society of Cardiovascular imaging and also hold accreditation for transthoracic and transoesophageal echocardiography with the British Society of Echocardiography.
I was awarded an MD in cardiovascular research from King’s College London in 2012. Current research interests include the utility of cardiac imaging in adult congenital heart disease patients and development of new imaging protocols for patients requiring novel cardiac procedures.
I have completed my undergraduate training at the University of Nottingham having attained an intercalated BMedSci in cell biology, in addition to BMBS qualification.
