MBChB, BMedSci (Hons), FRACGP (Aus), RCGP (UK, 2011)
I have been a GP for over 10 years and currently work in practices in Greater Manchester and Cheshire. Throughout the pandemic, I also worked in face-to-face assessment centres for patients with acute Covid infection. In addition, I have spent several years working as a GP in Australia, where there is a mixed public/private primary healthcare system. I have developed an interest in cardiology and children’s health, but pride myself on being an enthusiastic all-round GP.
I obtained my medical degree from the University of Sheffield in 2006, which included an intercalated research year studying the genetics of early-onset Parkinson’s disease.
My experience as a junior doctor includes jobs in A&E, anaesthetics, orthopaedics, vascular surgery, neurology, diabetes and endocrinology, paediatrics, psychiatry and obstetrics and gynaecology. As a GP, I have provided formal supervision to medical students at an advanced stage in their training.
Through exposure to a diverse range of societies and cultures, I have gained invaluable experience at treating individuals and families holistically. Modern medicine is ever-changing and the amount of online information available to patients can be overwhelming, whilst not always tailored to your specific needs.
At Spire Healthcare, I will take the opportunity to listen to your thoughts, address your concerns, and involve you in making informed choices regarding your treatment.

I grew up in Manchester in the 90s and music and football remain two of my biggest passions. I still have the first guitar my parents bought for me and continue to play 11-a-side and 5-a-side football. I enjoy traveling to attend concerts and never miss my annual snowboarding trip with old friends. After some recent success at playing tennis, I have sadly had to put my amateur golf career on hold!
