I have expertise in all forms of gastrointestinal disorders and advanced endoscopy. I've helped transform the IBD service in my NHS post and has a supervisory role in medical education. I am fully accredited in diagnostic and therapeutic upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy, and undertake advanced endoscopy in the form of oesophageal and enteral stenting, ERCP and biliary stenting, EUS and biopsy, and the removal of polyps.
My clinical interests include dyspepsia and reflux, IBS and alternations in bowel habits, crohn’s and colitis, GI cancers, pancreatic and liver disorders.
I trained at St Bartholomew's and The Royal London School of Medicine, University of London in 2005 whilst also attaining a first class with honours in Biomedical Engineering. After completing general medical training and gaining membership to the Royal College of Physicians in 2009, I undertook specialist training in gastroenterology in the South Thames region.
Having worked at some of London's most prestigious institutions such as St Bartholomew's Hospital, The Royal London Hospital and The Royal Marsden Hospital, I undertook a higher degree at St George's Hospital Medical School, University of London and was awarded an MD in 2016.
I've published over 20 articles in international peer-reviewed gastroenterology journals and continue to have an active role in research and conference proceedings.
