Miss Emily Morrow

Clinical Lead Physiotherapist

BSc (Hons)

I am the Clinical Lead Physiotherapist at Spire Manchester Hospital. I lead both the inpatient and outpatient physiotherapy teams, including our Occupational Therapy service. I am a Specialist Respiratory Physiotherapist and my specialist clinical interests include outpatient respiratory assessment and treatment, inpatient rehabilitation including acute respiratory and cardiac physiotherapy and acute inpatient orthopaedic rehabilitation. I also have a passion and drive for quality Improvement projects to drive clinical excellence which improves patient care and experience.

After qualifying in 2013, I worked within a variety of NHS trusts gaining a broad range of experience in all core areas of physiotherapy, including intensive care and high dependency units, medical, surgical and rehab wards and acute trauma and elective orthopaedic rehabilitation. Throughout this time I established a keen interest in inpatient early rehabilitation for all patients.

I joined Spire Manchester in 2018 and since working for Spire Healthcare I have been a key member project teams with the delivery of  thoracic and cardiac surgery. I have also developed the outpatient respiratory physiotherapy service. I am the falls champion for the hospital which is a key role to promote patient safety and experience. I enjoy working with the other clinical and non-clinical teams throughout the hospital and I strive to support our team members to deliver outstanding patient care through personalised assessment and treatment every day.
