"Spire Manchester Hospital has amazing facilities, highly skilled and experienced staff and provides high quality Physiotherapy care for all."
I am the Physiotherapy Outpatient Team Leader and Specialist Musculoskeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist at Spire Manchester Hospital. My specialist interests include complex MSK conditions, sports injuries, clinical Pilates and athlete screening.
After qualifying in 2008, I worked in a variety of settings including the NHS, private clinics and sports clubs, gaining a broad range of experience in all core areas of Physiotherapy. From there I specialised in MSK Outpatients and Sports injuries and attained an MSc in Sports Physiotherapy from the University of Bath.
I have a wealth of experience in a wide range of sports including: running, cycling, rugby union, swimming and water polo.
I also lead the Clinical Pilates service and present for the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute (APPI). I have published research in this field as well as researching ‘the effects of Clinical Pilates on functional movement in recreational runners’.
