"At Spire Leicester I can focus on what matters most – putting people rather than diseases at the heart of my decisions. Treating every patient with respect, honesty and to the best of my ability."
My practice includes a comprehensive range of oral and maxillofacial procedures including facial trauma, primary as well as post traumatic defects, salivary gland disease, facial skin lesions, cystic lesions of the jaws, dentoalveolar surgery including wisdom teeth removal, removal of impacted teeth, non surgical facial cosmetic procedures, anti-wrinkle treatment with injections, Temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction and management of conditions such as MRONJ and BRONJ.
I offer a friendly and enthusiastic service across the entire range of maxillofacial surgery.
I have been working as a consultant in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Leicester Royal Infirmary for over five years, treating both adults and patients. I have particular interests in facial trauma including orbital trauma utilising state of the art, customized 3D surgical planning. I also have a particular interest in salivary gland disease including the management of parotid, submandibular and minor salivary gland diseases.
I am the trauma lead for the maxillofacial department at the Leicester Royal Infirmary and I am also currently the Head of Service and Educational Lead for the department.
Outside of my NHS practice I am a tribunal member for the Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS). The MPTS runs hearings for doctors whose fitness to practice is called into question. We protect patients by making independent decisions about a doctor’s fitness to practice, measured against professional standards set by the General Medical Council.

Maxillofacial surgery is quite a demanding career, especially for a woman. I am passionate about patient care, and my goal is to always deliver the best possible contemporary experience. I aim to offer my patients the latest innovations and techniques available today. My strong family values help keep me grounded and enable me to deliver an honest, friendly and enthusiastic service.
On a social basis, I was formally a Ballroom and Latin dance instructor and always make time to instruct and enjoy dancing. I am also an avid reader and love my family time, travelling, cycling and enjoying good food.
