I have been working as a consultant at the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital since April 2014. I have broad experience in general gynaecology with special interest in treating menstrual disorders and prolapse. I had my basic and postgraduate training in India and further specialist training in the East of England deanery with advanced training skills in benign laparoscopic surgery, vaginal surgery and urogynaecology.
I specialise in outpatient hysteroscopy, laparoscopy and urogynaecology. I am in favour of minimal access surgery with early return to routine activities. I have expertise in treating menstrual disorders, prolapse, pelvic pain. My special interests are ambulatory gynaecology and day case surgeries with early return to work. Our work at Norwich and Norfolk Hospital was presented at international conferences.
In addition to my clinical work I am an honorary senior lecturer and secondary care module lead at the University of East Anglia Medical School. I enjoy teaching and training young doctors.
