Miss Swati Jha

Consultant Gynaecologist & Subspecialist in Urogynaecology

MBBS, MD, FRCOG Subspecialist in Urogynaecology

I am a Consultant Gynaecologist at The Jessop Wing of the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, Sheffield.

My main areas of interest are urogynaecology (genital prolapse and urinary incontinence) and general gynaecology. I am lead for the perineal trauma and have an interest in vulval and perineal problems (enlarged labia and vaginal laxity) as well as problems of painful sex.

I was appointed in October 2008 and joined after completing my Subspecialty Training in Urogynaecology which was a 2 year training programme dedicated to the management of incontinence and prolapse. Most of my training was completed in the West Midlands before I moved up to Sheffield to take up a Consultant post.
