I am a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon with over 27 years of medical experience. I am honoured to have received two clinical excellence awards for my services as the Lead Retina Consultant at the Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital. At your consultation, I will respect and care for you to the best of my ability.
I specialise in small incision cataract surgery with a tailored approach to surgery in patients with retinal disease. I offer the full range of premium lenses including toric lenses for astigmatic correction and multifocal lenses in suitable patients.
I use advanced retinal imaging and non-burn retinal laser techniques to diagnose and manage macular disease and I also offer all intravitreal injections including Eylea, Lucentis, Ongavia, Faricimab and Ozurdex for the urgent management of wet macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease and retinal vein occlusions.
I am proud to support charities important to me through my private practice. These include UNICEF, Sight Savers, the NSPCC, Oxfam, Water Aid and The Dogs Trust.
