B.Med.Sci, MBBS, FRCS T&O
I aim to provide comprehensive care for my patients with accurate diagnosis of pathologies affecting the shoulder and elbow. Then using sound, evidence based approach to treatment, I endeavour to perform appropriate surgery using both current open and arthroscopic techniques.
I have comprehensive training in all aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery including trauma. I am fully competent in open and arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery. I routinely provide expertise in trauma surgery to the upper limb including wrist and forearm injuries.
Conditions treated include shoulder impingement, rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, frozen shoulder and arthritis. Also elbow arthritis, stiffness and tennis, golfer's elbow and nerve entrapments of carpal and cubital tunnel syndrome. I also routinely provide expertise in trauma surgery to the upper limb including wrist and forearm injuries.
I graduated from St Bartholomew's Hospital Medical School in 1998. After gaining my membership exams I worked as a Trauma Fellow at the Royal London Hospital which is the Major Trauma Centre for East London. From there I was appointed to the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital (RNOH) training rotation centred at Stanmore under Professor Briggs. This included over a year on the shoulder unit at the RNOH where my passion for upper limb surgery developed. I passed the exit exams in 2008 before further fellowship training in Perth, WA in upper limb surgery. I completed my training in January 2011 and was appointed as a Upper Limb Consultant at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Adam Pandit at Spire include:

I live locally with my wife, who works as a paediatric anaesthetist at Great Ormond Street, and my two young sons. I am a keen cricketer, though I fear the best of my playing days are behind me, but with my recent membership to the MCC my passion will continue from the pavilion.
