My practice concentrates on neck and lower back pain, and my surgical practice concentrates on the use of minimally invasive techniques. I perform the full range of spinal operations, ranging from injections, vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty, cervical disc replacement or fusion, and lumbar microdiscectomies, decompressions and fusions.
I was brought up in Surrey and educated at Bradfield College, Reading. I graduated in 1998 from Sheffield University Medical School. I did my basic surgical training at RNOH, Stanmore, Northwick Park Hospital, Harrow and NHNN, Queen Square. I studied for my MSc in Surgical Sciences at University College London and then went on to Higher Surgical Training at Barts and the Royal London Hospital. I concentrated my registrar training to becoming a spinal surgeon, spending two years on the spinal unit at Stanmore and then did a further year-long advanced spinal surgery fellowship.
I have nationally and internationally published and lectured on spinal and trauma surgery. I also examine and interview for the London and KSS Deaneries.
