I specialise exclusively in knee complaints and knee surgery.

I have worked as a Consultant at Guy’s and St Thomas’ since 2009. After attaining an Honours degree I went on to further qualify as a Doctor in 1998 from Guy’s and St Thomas’ Medical School. I have trained at a number of level one trauma centres, and have worked throughout London and the South East.

While in training I completed a postgraduate masters degree, and was appointed a senior honorary clinical lecturer in Trauma and Orthopaedics as well as director of education for South London Orthopaedics, in recognition for my contributions to higher surgical training. During my time specialising in knee surgery, I studied with and trained with experts in the world of knee surgery, including Dr Ponky Firer (Johannesburg), Dr David Dalury (Baltimore), Dr Charles Brown (Boston), and Dr Spike Erasmus (Cape Town). While in clinical practice I have developed a number of care innovations, including new surgical techniques, devices and rapid rehabilitation programmes for patients undergoing knee surgery.

I am available to attend primary care practices to meet and engage with GP colleagues and deliver talks on 'Knee Sports Injuries', 'Saving the Meniscus' and 'Joint Replacement, Who, When and Why?'.
