I am a Consultant Gynaecologist at the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, with a private practice at Spire Claremont Hospital.
I aim to provide the highest standards of care. Private consultations are offered at Spire Claremont Hospital and my service is patient centred with consultation times offered conveniently on a Thursday evening. I offer a personal and individual service with 30 minute consultation times to enable all patient’s concerns and worries to be addressed. Reassuring patients as quickly as possible about the underling nature of their problems is a key goal of my service. This approach leads to very high levels of patient satisfaction.
I qualified in London in 1992 and subsequently trained in Sheffield and Cambridge gaining dual specialist accreditation in 2003 in Obstetrics/Gynaecology and Gynaecological Oncology (Cancer).
I was appointed Consultant Gynaecological Surgeon at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals in 2003. I have introduced many service improvements and innovations including advanced keyhole surgery techniques, offering surgical training programmes to all levels of trainee. I also mentor consultant colleagues in advanced gynaecological laparoscopic surgery.
I am the Lead Clinician for Gynaecological Cancer services at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals. Private gynaecology services can be provided in a nationally recognised fully accredited centre for the investigation and management of gynaecological cancer.
