I am a Consultant in Laparoscopic Upper Gastro-intestinal and General Surgery. I specialise in advanced surgical and endoscopic treatments for gallstones, laparoscopic (keyhole) surgery for hernias of all types – inguinal, femoral, umbilical, incisional, anti-reflux surgery and the treatment of achalasia.
I studied medicine at Oxford University and Kings College London and undertook higher surgical training in the South-East of England. I was appointed as a Consultant at East Surrey Hospital in 2011. I have been the Clinical lead for Trauma, Clinical lead for General Surgery and am currently the Clinical lead for Endoscopy. I perform laparoscopic and robotic procedures for gallstone disease, simple and complex hernias, acid reflux due to hiatus hernia, and oesophageal motility disorders. My private practice mirrors my NHS specialty work.

I am a keen musician, playing guitar and composing electronic music. I enjoy squash, cycling, sailing and have two children.
