I came to the UK 38 years ago, fell in love with the country and its people and therefore decided to make it my home. I have lived in the North West for a number of years and have found the people to be friendly and the landscape picturesque. I am married and have a family. My hobbies include cooking and classic cars.

My philosophy in life is simple, always look for the good in people and you will find it.

I was so moved and humbled by my first experience on a recent charity mission to Jordan helping to treat the casualties of the Syrian civil war. I have developed an appetite for more charity work where I can use my skills to make a difference.

My strongest point may also be my weakest, that I am a perfectionist.
