Mr Andrew Camilleri

Consultant Ear, Nose and Throat Surgeon

MB ChB, FRCS (Gen Surg), FRCS (ORL)

With 20 years' experience as an ENT surgeon from South Manchester University Hospitals, it is a pleasure to bring my skills in ear, nose and throat surgery to Spire Manchester Hospital, Spire Manchester Clinic Hale and Spire Regency Hospital.

In addition to the general spectrum of ear, nose and throat conditions, I run specialist clinics in children’s ENT, dizziness, rhinitis/sinusitis and teach other ear surgeons in stapedectomy and mastoid surgery.

I have been the Specialty Lead in ENT for South Manchester University Hospitals for the last 14 years. This involves the day to day running of the department, budgeting, strategic planning and dealing with any complaints for which I have earned clinical excellence awards.

As a member of the Otology (Ear) Council at Royal Society of Medicine, I was responsible for planning education between 2009 and 2015. I am currently a member of council at the British Society of Otology responsible for national monitoring and strategic planning of ear surgery. As a member of the Specialist Accreditation Committee North Western, I appraise and monitor trainers and trainees in ENT locally.

I am a surgical trainer in the North West and a national examiner for the FRCS exam.

I have recently provided my charitable services to Earaid Nepal who carry out ear surgery camps in Nepal where there are very few ENT surgeons.
