I undertake a full range of orthopaedic foot and ankle surgery and am developing a minimally invasive forefoot service. I undertake surgery for sporting injuries, both arthroscopic and open, to the foot and ankle and also undertakes ankle replacements for ankle arthritis. I have been instrumental in setting up and adding the ankle replacement to the National Joint Registry a couple of years ago.
Having trained with a number of eminent foot and ankle specialists in the UK, United States and France, I took up a post at Addenbrooke's Hospital as a Consultant in Orthopaedics and Traumatology, taking over the 'foot and ankle' caseload that had been left by my predecessor which is based at the Cambridge Spire Lea.
Over the years, I have undertaken a broad range of foot and ankle surgery and have built a national and international reputation for my foot and ankle surgical care.
My clinical practice covers the full range of foot and ankle surgery. I treat both trauma and orthopaedic conditions of the foot and in the National Health Service run the very busy foot and ankle surgery service at Addenbrooke’s since 1999.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Andrew (Fred) Robinson at Spire include:
Orthopaedics

I have published three chapters in various Oxford textbooks in Medicine and have now published over 30 articles referenced on PubMed.
