Specialises in
Virtual consultations:
I trained in London at St Mary's, Hammersmith, Chelsea and Westminster, The Royal Marsden and Charing Cross Hospitals, specialising in Upper Gastrointestinal (GI), Hepatobiliary and Pancreatic (HPB) and Bariatric Surgery. I also received Fellowships in Upper GI, HPB, Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery in Australia and New Zealand before taking up my Consultant post at St George's Hospital and in private practice.
I undertake all forms of general surgery, performing most of my surgical procedures laparoscopically (keyhole). My additional interest is in abdominal endocrine diseases, including the adrenal glands and neuroendocrine tumours of the pancreas.
I am the Upper GI and Bariatric Clinical Lead and Clinical Governance Lead in General Surgery at St George's Hospital. I am on the Southwest London Higher Surgical Training Committee and I am the Educational Supervisor for Upper GI trainees. I am actively involved with teaching medical students at St George's Medical School and lecture both locally and internationally. I have a keen interest in academic surgery and I have published my research extensively.
