I am a highly regarded Upper Gastrointestinal and Laparoscopic Surgeon who specialises with keyhole surgeries for gallstones, hernias, hiatus hernias, acid reflux and weight loss.

To date, I have performed over 1,000 laparoscopic cholecystectomies, over 1100 hernia repairs and 400 weight loss procedures as a consultant surgeon.

I undertook training in General Surgery in India, London and Surrey, following which I undertook specialised laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgery training (weight loss surgery) at Homerton Hospital in London and Brugge (Belgium). I have a Masters in General Surgery and have publications in reputed journals.

I worked as a Consultant Bariatric Surgeon at Homerton Hospital in London for a year before being appointed as a Consultant General Surgeon in September 2017 at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust, Worthing Hospital.
