I graduated from the University of Cambridge, with further study at University College London. I am dual-accredited, achieving both membership of the Royal College of Surgeons and membership of the Royal College of Physicians.
After training in all areas of Dermatology, I completed a Fellowship programme in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. I am registered with the British Society of Dermatological Surgery external quality assurance scheme for Mohs surgery and pathology analysis.
My specialist interest is the treatment of cancer. I am Deputy Chair for skin cancer at the Queens Medical Centre, and author of the UK guidelines for managing Pre-cancer. I currently train medical colleagues in both skin surgery and Mohs surgery, and am an invited teacher on national courses.
I am an Honorary Associate Professor at the University of Nottingham, a post that facilitates active and ongoing contributions to research, training and publications, including scientific papers and textbooks. I also treat patients with general dermatological complaints, including connective tissue disorders and inflammatory dermatoses.
I offer consultations at the Spire Nottingham Hospital, and also via the private patients team at the Nottingham NHS Treatment Centre.
