Specialises in
Virtual consultations:
I was trained through the prestigious Royal London Trauma & Orthopaedic training rotation programme. I have completed fellowships at Barts Health NHS Trust, London, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, London and a North American fellowship based in Calgary. These are level one trauma centres and tertiary referral centre for complex orthopaedic procedures.
My NHS practice is based at Queen’s Hospital and King George Hospital, London since 2019. My practice is mainly focused around sports knee injuries, ligament reconstruction and computer assisted joint replacement for patients with existing deformities. My fellowships were obtained in knee ligament injuries and joint preservation surgery such as osteotomy around knee.
I am one of the few surgeons in the country with fellowship training in performing hip replacement through direct anterior approach. This is a less invasive technique of performing hip replacement which enables patients to go home on the same day. I am also the infection control lead for my department within the NHS.
I have been actively involved in research. I have written book chapters and have published my work in several peer reviewed journals. I believe in a holistic and evidence based approach towards patients care.
I have a degree in computer and robotic assisted joint replacement. I keep myself up to date with currently available robots for orthopaedics, pros and cons for each of them. I feel there is a gap in service provision for operations such as joint preservation surgery with osteotomy, extensor mechanism realignment procedures and robotic joint replacement in Essex and East London and I would cherish the opportunity to develop these services.
