I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and a dedicated specialist in the field of hip and knee surgery.
I am highly specialised in hip and knee surgery, as well as sports injuries and complex reconstruction. I aim to deliver patient-specific treatment solutions for all types of hip and knee conditions, trauma and sports-related injuries and I believe that fitness and exercise are vital to a modern healthy lifestyle.
Last year I performed over 280 joint replacements and I performed over 45 ACL reconstructions.
I work within The Human Performance Centre at Bucks New University as a visiting Professor and also work within private practice as the director of The London Hip and Knee Clinic.
I began my medical education by qualifying from St Bart's NHS Trust and went on to do further training from University College London Hospitals, The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital, King's College London Hospital, and The Avon Orthopaedic Hospital in Bristol.
I have a significant research history and still actively engage with it. My research focus is technology in arthroplasty, patient safety, musculoskeletal pathology and trauma. I have published many peer-reviewed articles in respected medical journals. Additionally, I am a Clinical Lead for the Enhanced Recovery Programme which considers the experience, education, recovery and outcomes of patients.
