My surgical speciality areas are: scar treatments, including CryoShape for keloids; moles, skin lesions and skin cancer; aesthetic facial surgery; aesthetic breast surgery; abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) and body contouring; laser treatments. In addition, I assess medico-legal cases of personal injury and scarring.
I have worked in plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery since 1999 and have been a consultant in Nottingham since 2010.
I am a core member of the Nottingham Skin Specialist Multidisciplinary Team and of the Nottingham University Hospitals Burns Multidisciplinary Team. I teach undergraduate medical students and postgraduate surgeons and am an examiner with the University of Nottingham. I hold an Honorary (Consultant) Assistant Professor post with the university and am the Clinical Lead for the National Repository Centre and Clinical Skills Centre, based at Nottingham University Hospitals.
I have published widely in medical literature and regularly present research at national and international meetings. I also act as a reviewer of scientific articles submitted for publication to four medical journals.
