Specialises in
I graduated from UCL and underwent specialist training in the Kent, Surrey and Sussex deanery. During this time I developed an interest in trauma surgery as well as arthroplasty surgery. Following completion of my training I completed a trauma fellowship in Adelaide, Australia focusing on pelvic and acetabular surgery followed by a Royal College of Surgeons accredited Hip Fellowship in Frimley Park, UK. I was subsequently appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at University Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust in 2021.
My main interests are primary and revision hip replacement surgery as well as pelvic and acetabular surgery. Alongside this I also perform knee replacements and lower limb trauma/fracture surgery. My training has given me a detailed exposure to all aspects of hip surgery. I use modern techniques for joint replacement and my experience of complex injuries around the hip has given me an excellent grounding in the assessment and management of failing and problematic hip replacements.
Some of the principal treatments carried out by Mr Dan Wilson at Spire include:
Orthopaedics - hip and knee

In his spare time I like to keep fit by cycling and running. I am kept on my toes by my two young children and I enjoy spending time with my family in the Sussex countryside.
